You would not believe how early I am writing this post simply because I don't wanna risk not being able to write it later on in the month and having to miss a month of recommendations. That would be an outrage.
○ October Movie: Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates
This is a pure comedy movie that you have to watch if you're into that kind of movie. It's got Zac Efron in it, it's got Aubrey Plaza, Anna Kendrick and Adam Devine. It's about two brothers who love to party and tend to ruin every family event they ever go to and how they manage to find respectable dates for their sister's wedding. The girls are pretty wild, but you'll see what they'll be willing to do for a free trip to Hawaii. Of course, there are notes of romance in the movie, which I seem to say every single month. It's not overpowering, though, the main focus of the movie is making you laugh, which it will, given you've got a bit of a raw sense of humour.
○ Vlogtober: extrasunbeamsjess
First of all, Vlogtober is when youtubers daily vlog through the whole of October - the same thing as Vlogmas just a few months earlier. I think I've already talked about Jess last year, but she deserves another shoutout. I love her vlogs because they are super relatable as she's at university and has lots of studying and reading (major: English Literature) to do. I really like seeing what happens behind a youtuber's lens, especially when they are doing everyday stuff that ''normal'' people deal with as well. It's just fun for me to see someone somewhat famous doing all the things that I do as well and realizing that they really are just a normal person despite the fame. I also really like learning about the student lifestyle and I enjoy comparing it to my own.
○ October Song: Niall Horan - This Town
I obviously know that this song came out at the end of September, but by that time I'd already written my recommendations and I have been loving it all throughout October as well, so. If you're clueless and don't realize why I'm recommending a single song, it's because This Town is Niall Horan's (yes, the one from One Direction) debut single and it is beautiful. Give it a go if you're into cute acoustic tracks - I swear it's the cutest thing in the world.
○ October TV Show: How To Get Away With Murder
I mean, why find new shows when all of my faves are coming out with new seasons and smashing the game? I won't talk too much about this again, I'll just say that season 3 is incredibly gripping and there are a lot of cliff-hangers as per usual. If you're into mystery and drama, this is the show for you. The time jumps are literally killing me in every episode.

I spent a few days running around Belgrade a few weeks ago without a particular schedule, so I had time to take lots of pretty autumnal photos. If you wanna see where I'll be living for the next few years, keep scrolling.

Fortune cookies are dumb, but I actually really like what this one had to tell me.

That's where we had our goodbye coffee and then hit the bus station. I really love sharing photos that I take around big cities (you may have noticed), so you can expect some more posts of this kind. Talk to you Sunday!

If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know that my family have been obsessed with this recipe and there was a point where I made it 3 days in a row. So naturally I thought if everyone loved it so much, you guys would too. You might have already seen this recipe somewhere on the Internet, but in case you haven't, I'mma change your life.
What you'll need:
○ 200g of baking chocolate
○ 70g of flour
○ 100g of sugar
○ 4 eggs
○ 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
○ 200g of butter
○ vanilla extract if you're into it
What to do:
1) Melt the chocolate and the butter together and then add cinnamon into it.
2) Mix the eggs with the sugar. Use your mixer.
3) Once you've mixed the eggs and sugar, you wanna start slowly pouring the chocolate and butter into it whilst using your mixer.
4) When you have all of that as one big mixture, you should slowly add in the flour.
5) When you've mixed all of the ingredients nicely, take a muffin tray and pur the mixture into it. If you're tray isn't silicone, oil it up first of course. Then bake the cakes for 7-9 minutes (depending on your oven) on 200°C.
When you get them out of the oven, they will be very soft and slightly runny, so leave them to cool before getting them out of the tray. Otherwise, you'll be left with a huge chocolatey mess. Bon appetit!

I hope you are all aware of how boring I am about to get with college and moving related blog posts. I just feel like there are a lot of people going through the same thing and because I enjoy making lists and helping people, this is the perfect opportunity for me to shine. Here are some of the things I've found pretty essential so far.
○ hand sanitizer - you don't want to walk around with your hands filthy from all the things they may have touched in public transportation
○ wet wipes - to be double sure your hands are clean or in case you don't have a sanitizer
○ tissues - it's the season of runny noses after all
○ makeup wipes - for the nights you stay over at someone's house or just get too drunk (I mean... tired) to remove your makeup properly
○ moisturizer - with all the long nights and cold October air, your face is gonna need a pick-me-up
○ dry shampoo/baby powder - for all of us who are too lazy to wash our hair regularly even without the pressure of studying and being independent
○ concealer - you'll need to cover them bags
○ mascara - a little something to make your eyes pop and look more awake
○ a bold lipstick for a quick day-to-night look
○ lip balm - your lips will also need some pampering in the following seasons
These are just some of the beauty things I thought everyone should have. They're pretty basic and obvious, but something a lot of people can forget. These are good to have no matter if you are or aren't a college student, to be honest. If you've got any other beauty things you can chuck in your bag and be good to go, share them in the comments below. Talk to you Thursday!

1. What school are you attending?
Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.
2. What year are you entering?
I'm entering the first year so I'm a confused little freshman.
3. What made you choose this school?
I've always known I'd end up studying a language in college so it came as no surprise to anyone that I chose this school. I am going to be studying Scandinavian culture & literature as well as the Swedish language.
4. When did you apply and get accepted? Describe your experience.
Our system is a bit different over here. We have entrance exams for each college and if you do well on it, you will get into the college that you've chosen. Because I had been preparing for months before the actual exam, I knew I would get into the college, I was just unsure about the language that would be available. I ended up being 20th on the list out of 1300 candidates, so I was able to choose the course I wanted.
5. Are you prepared to leave the nest?
I have already left the nest and I am quite enjoying it. I love being able to see what ''real life'' is like and being responsible for yourself. Of course, sometimes I miss the comforts of my home and having all of my friends and my parents with me, but this is a positive thing for my future, so I try not to complain and I think of it as a good change.
6. Have you met your roommate yet? What do you think?
I am actually living with my best friend of 7 years in a rented apartment, so yes, I have met her and I think we're gonna get along great.
7. If you could take only 3 things to college what would they be?
Phone, wallet & fluffy socks.
8. What is one college resolution?
I haven't really made any resolutions, but I guess I would love to become a bit more outgoing and less shy around new people.
9. What is your go to college look? (hair and makeup)
Makeup wise I tend to go for a very simple look - foundation, mascara, brows. That's what I used to do all through high school and what I'll continue doing in college. I like that that look is really simple and easy, but still spruces up your tired face. Sometimes I'll even add a bit of bronzer on my cheeks and eyelids.
Hair is a bit more complicated as it depends on whether it's clean or not. If it's clean I always wear it down until it starts to annoy me and I tie it up. If it isn't very clean, I tie it up from the start.
10. What is your advice to high school seniors and/or incoming freshmen?
To high school seniors I say do your best and try not to worry too much about the outcome. If you get in, amazing! If you don't, you'll at least know that you gave your 100% and there's always next year. It's not the end of the world if something goes wrong. Good luck!

To college freshmen: we're all in the same boat of confusion and anxiety. You're not alone.

I've moved to another city last week as I'm starting college tomorrow, so I thought I'd share some tips while the memory still serves me.
○ try not to panic - nothing is as dramatic as it seems
○ make lots of lists - you'll be more organized and feel less stressed knowing that everything you need is written down so you can't forget it
○try not to argue with your parents - it's stressful for them, too so don't cause any unnecessary trouble
○ prioritize - you don't want to overpack
○ remember that you can take anything you forget next time you go home, it's not the end of the world
○pack in categories - separate things into categories to be able to clearly see what's missing, lists will help here
○ have calming/motivational music prepared
○ think of it as exciting rather than tiring and stressful
○ eat - you'll need the energy
○ stay hydrated
○ wear comfy clothes - the last thing you need is to be uncomfortable or feel restrained by your clothes
○ have a charged phone in case of emergency or boredom
○ having a phone charger is also very useful
○ consult your friends about what they're brining
○ take your family's advice
○ talk with your future roommate (if you have one) and see what they're brining
Those are all of my tips, but if you've got some of your own, share your wisdom with us in the comments below. Talk to you Thursday!

I've recently moved from my hometown because I started college (wow, I know) so I thought it was only right to make a playlist for anyone who might also be moving out and needs a bit of motivation.
1. Nick Jonas - Chains
2. Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj- Side to Side
3. The Chainsmokers ft Halsey - Closer
4. DNCE - Toothbrush
5. The 1975 - Girls
6. Major Lazer ft. Justin Bieber, MØ - Cold Water
7. Hozier - Take Me To Church
8. James Bay - Collide
9. Zayn - TiO
10. Justin Timberlake -  Can't Stop the Feeling
11. Nick Jonas - Bacon
12. twenty one pilots - Ride
13. One Direction - Temporary Fix
14. Ariana Grande ft. Future - Everyday
15. Beyonce - Daddy Lessons
16. DNCE - Pay My Rent (appropriate title for the theme of the playlist)
17.The 1975 - The Sound
18. Halsey - Ghost
19. Zayn - She
20. One Direction - Where Do Broken Hearts Go
Here's the playlist on 8tracks, which I haven't done in a while. That way is much easier for me and for you as you have all the songs in one place. Also, sorry if I'm a bit repetitive with my song choices recently.

You might have realized by now that I am a huge fan on brown eyeshadow looks as I feel like they suit my eye colour really well. I don't know how well this look is showing up in photos, but I will run you through the steps that I took in order to create it. This is my current favourite makeup look as it's really simple, but it looks very put together and kind of sultry. Let's begin.
1) The first thing I did was primed my skin with the NYX Shine Killer (review) and then applied my foundation which is the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25h.
2) I like to do my brows before I set my foundation so that the powder sticks better onto the tacky surface. To fill in my brows, I'm still using the NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder and then for the tails of my brows, which are a bit more sparse, I used the darkest colour from the NYX Natural palette. When I'm satisfied with the shape of my brows, I set them with the Essence clear eyebrow gel.
3) Now for the eyes. I first apply concealer on my lids as a base and I set that with a skin tone eyeshadow. Then I go in with the first bronzer from the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shade Tan, review) and I apply that into the crease. Because I've got hooded eyes, I bring this eyeshadow a bit higher up, almost all the way to the brow bone, so that it's actually visible. I like to build the intensity up depending on my mood and sometimes I add a bit of the other bronzers as well. The key to making this look really sultry is using a very dark brown shade (the one I used for my brows from the NYX Natural palette) and with an angled brush applying it onto the lash line. You want to stay as close to the lash line as possible and then what you're gonna wanna do is wing it out slightly. Then, after you have your wing, take a little brush and blend it into the outer corner. I don't like to go crazy on the dark brown, I just add a smidgen to make the look more dramatic.
4) Once you've got your eyeshadow on, curl your lashes and apply mascara.
5) Now, to finish off the base, we're gonna apply concealer to hide our horrible under-eye bags and then we'll set our whole face with a powder. I'm using the Rimmel Stay Matte powder again.
6) To bronze up the face and look a bit more human, I use the same bronzer that I used on my eyes. If I want to go a step further and contour, I use the two middle shades (Toffee and Sculpt) from the same NYX palette.
7) The finishing touch is obviously highlight. I first use the one called Nectar from the NYX palette and then I apply Ice Queen on top to make it more intense.
That's all I did. I'm wearing a lip balm on my lips as I wanted the eyes to be the center of attention.  Check out the photos below and excuse my inability to keep my head straight. For sneak peeks of my looks and tutorials, follow me on my twitter. Talk to you Thursday!
