The world seems to be falling apart and we're all looking
for some joy in this crazy time. There's no need to worry, I've got you
covered. I know I haven't written here in a while, but I'm back and I'm
recommending some music to you. I'll tell you about some albums that you could
listen to in quarantine. Whether you're looking for something more up-tempo or
some more vibey, chill songs, I've got your back. I hope this music will make
your isolation time a little more fun and a little less depressing. Enjoy!

Happy New Year everybody! I'm back and I'm talking about my favorite music yet again. Everyone is well aware of my love for Harry Styles, so this post doesn't come as a surprise. Harry has recently released his second solo album and I am, of course, in love with it. And considering I'm going to see him in concert in May, it would be very unfortunate if I hated the album. So, Fine Line by Harry Styles is definitely an album I strongly recommend giving a listen.
Fine Line is definitely a little bit sadder than the first album, it's more emotional and raw. I personally love that and I think the lyrics and the songs, in general, are beautiful. If you love songs that hit you right in the feels, you'll love this album, too. Of course, he's got more upbeat songs for those who prefer to dance and jump around to music. So, whether you prefer beautiful words or melodies you can dance to, Harry has got you covered. And even though some of the lyrics are sad, the songs aren't depressive.
The songs are mainly about a relationship that's falling apart a.k.a about a breakup. However, there are a few happier, more optimistic gems. There's something for everyone, as always. I haven't heard anyone say a bad word about Fine Line (probably because my sister hasn't heard it), which is a good sign. The three songs we were able to hear before the release of the album - Lights Up, Watermelon Sugar and Adore You - do give a good glimpse into the album, but they don't prepare you for how raw and emotional the rest of the album is.
As always, I have to name a few of my favorite songs. So, the songs I am most in love with are To Be So Lonely, She, Golden and Cherry, but the three singles are also very strong contenders. If you don't want to listen to the whole thing, maybe you'll change your mind after listening to these beauties. So, spend your Saturday well and give Fine Line by Harry Styles a listen. You're welcome!
I swear, my goal isn't to be a music blog. Yes, I know all I'm doing recently is talking about music and making playlists, but that's what I find interesting and what I have time for. I love recommending music, so that's what I'm doing yet again.
For the past month or so, I've been listening to a few albums and artists and I've decided to share my favorite tracks. There will be a lot of Rex Orange County (as per usual), Harry Styles, Kali Uchis and Billie Eilish. Sorry if it's a bit repetitive, but it's a great playlist, trust me.
I've compiled some of my favorite songs during November and put them in a little playlist over on my Spotify. Hi, you need to listen to this album. My favorite baby has finally released new music and I am obsessed. Shocker, I know. Well, I want everyone else to love it as much as I do. If you aren't already religiously listening to PONY, it's time you start.
It's fun, it's upbeat (for the most part) and most importantly, it's beautiful. As always, the lyrics of each song hit the feels like nothing else. It's an album full of beautiful words and melodies that are in true Rex Orange County - different, unexpected, surprising. You can't put Rex in a box and define his genre. You can just enjoy his gorgeous songs. As expected, the songs are pretty emotional and you'll hear some sad lyrics with upbeat, happy melodies. What are my favorite songs? I don't know if I'm ready to answer that. I'll give you a rough idea, though: It Gets Better, Always, Face to Face, Pluto Projector, Never Had the Balls, It's Not the Same Anymore. Okay, I've named six out of ten songs. Way to narrow it down.
I've been listening to this album every day ever since it came out and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I feel like his music always speaks to my soul and something about it really resonates with me. I just think Rex deserves way more attention and love as his music is absolutely incredible and unique. So, just go and listen to this masterpiece. That's all I wanted to say today. Talk to you sometime soon.
Hey, I'm back with a playlist. This week it's a chill vibez playlist (I don't know why I decided to name it that, just go along with it and check it out on Spotify). I've been really into these songs for the past few months. I just play one of them and just let YouTube decide what's next. That way I've discovered a bunch of great songs and I'm here to share. They're all very chill and *vibey*. You can have them in the background while working, studying or talking to your friends. Or you can sing along to them and enjoy the beautiful lyrics. Whatever you decide to do, I hope you enjoy.

Hey, so today I thought it would be fun to talk to you about all of the artists that I adore and I listen to every day. I love recommending music to people (as you can probably tell by all the playlists I make) and I think it's fun to find cool new artists. So, if you're like me and you like finding new music to enjoy, continue reading.
Music has been very important to me these past few months and it has been making me very happy. I've compiled a huge playlist of my fave songs over on Spotify, but for this post I've separated the ones that make me dance into a smaller playlist. If you're looking for a lil' pick-me-up, click here and check out these sick tunes. You'll notice a lot of Rex Orange County, just trust me on this one, that's how it's supposed to be. I hope these make you as happy as they make me. Enjoy!
I am coming back after a break that was way too long and I'm about to share some music with you. Again. This time, however, I'm not talking about my favourite albums, but making a playlist of some songs that I've had on repeat for the past few days. I've gone back to listening to indie music like I used to years ago. It's a vibe. I love having these in the background whilst studying as they're nice and chill and not too distracting. I found most of these on Deezer and I'm in love with this playlist. Get your headphones ready, this is gonna be a long one. I've created this playlist on Deezer, so if you'd like to listen to it as a whole a little bit easier click here and enjoy.

*I apologize if your OCD is triggered that there's 21 songs and not an even number, but that's just how it had to be this time.
I am a bad blogger and that's just something we all have to learn to live with. I haven't been in the blogging mindset, but I've become obsessed with some music so I'm here to share cause I'm not selfish and sharing is caring.
Years & Years - Palo Santo
As with the first album, for some reason it took me a bit of time to fully commit to listening to it, but since I finally heard the whole thing, I haven't been able to stop listening to it. I love it! I can't exactly decide whether I prefer this one or the first one, but it doesn't really matter, does it? What matters is that this is an amazing album that you should go and listen to. It can lift your mood up if that's what you want, or it can be the thing you listen to when you're down in the dumps and relate to the lyrics. That's another thing - the lyrics are absolutely beautiful, wow! It's a great little pop album with some electronic elements to it, if you ask my musically uneducated self. My fave songs are: Karma, Preacher, Lucky Escape, All For You, If You're Over Me, and that's where I'll stop myself because I could go on until I've named all the songs. Go listen to this gem!
Troye Sivan - Bloom
I mean, leave it to Troye Sivan to release the perfect collection of songs every time. Seriously, there isn't one song I don't like on this album, and that's very much the case with all of Troye's albums and EPs. It's in true Troye Sivan style, pop but with different variations and beautiful lyrics that cause a little nostalgia and make you a bit emo. It's fine, though. It's got upbeat tracks and it's got slower ones and it tugs at all of your heartstrings. My faves are: Postcard, What A Heavenly Way To Die and Seventeen. Check baby Troye out if you haven't yet.
5 Seconds of Summer - Youngblood
Taking it back to the basics and 2014 when I used to be obsessed with 5SOS. This album was a long time coming and I was very excited to hear what it would sound like. As I said, I used to love 5SOS back in the day and so my inner fangirl woke up and was ready for some new songs. All the singles they'd released before the album were fan-tas-tic! I will admit, this isn't my favourite album they've ever made, but I still enjoy listening to it. Every now and then I'll play all the 5SOS songs ever made and it makes me super nostalgic and I love it. This album is very upbeat and, in my opinion, quite different to the previous ones. If you're a fan of these boys and haven't yet given this album a listen, I urge you to do it. My favourite tracks are Valentine, Youngblood, Lie To Me, Moving Along, Talk Fast and Want You Back.
There you go, that's all I have for now. Go enjoy some music now and have fun! Till next time.
Shawn Mendes - Shawn Mendes
Yes! Baby Shawn has released a new album (that's not even that new anymore cause I procrastinated writing this post for so long) and I am obsessed! I never really used to actively listen to his music, but things have changed. When I first heard In My Blood and then Lost in Japan I knew this album was going to be different and I was intrigued. By the time Youth came out I was already obsessively listening to the new songs. So it was no surprise when the album came out that I absolutely loved it. He said in a few interviews that he wanted to experiment with genres a bit more and break the barriers between them and I think he definitely succeeded and you can hear a lot of diversity on the album. It's a very feel-good album, the lyrics are, of course, beautiful and there's a variety of different tempo songs, which is always good and keeps things interesting. My faves are Queen, Particular Taste, Nervous and Where Were You In The Morning?, but ofc I encourage you to listen to the whole album as it is in fact beautiful.
James Bay - Electric Light
This is another album that I expected to love even before it came out. I had heard a few songs such as Pink Lemonade, Wild Love and Us and could not wait to hear the whole thing. James Bay is just super talented and I love all the songs he's ever put out, so this wasn't a surprise either. There's a lot of guitar, a lot of high tempo songs, rock vibes and lots and lots of beautiful words. If you loved his first album, you're gonna be obsessed with this one. Go give it a listen and have a little jam session in your room. And if you're wondering which songs are my faves, I'll tell you: Sugar Drunk High, Wanderlust and Wasted On Each Other.
Ariana Grande - Sweetener
Now, full disclosure: I still haven't heard the entire album, but I think that Ariana deserves some love atm, so I'm gonna recommend it based on the songs that I have heard. We all know that this girl is the most talented singer of our generation and she's got some amazing tunes as well. The album is a little bit different than the previous one, but it's still very much Ariana. It's a mixture of really good pop/RnB songs. I am OBSESSED with R.E.M, breathin and God is a woman, and some days I'll find myself singing borderline non-stop as well. It's a pretty fast paced album and it's got a really cool vibe to it (which I think I also said about Dangerous Woman). So I suggest you go listen to it and give some love to this amazing lady.
I want to quickly mention two more albums. I haven't heard all of the songs on them, but I have a feeling I will love them as much as I do the ones I've heard so far. They are Bloom by Troye Sivan and Palo Santo by Years and Years. If the three albums I wrote about aren't enough for you, give these two a try as well. They sound promising to me.

I have been listening to a lot of new music and today I am here to share 2 of my favourite albums right now. One of them came out recently and the other one I discovered recently.
○ The Weeknd - My Dear Melancholy

I've been obsessing over The Weeknd for the longest time, but the peak of my madness happened when Starboy came out. I remember listening to it every single day for a few months and not ever getting sick of it. Now, I am still in love with that album, but the time has come for me to move on to Abel's most recent tracks. He came out with an EP of 6 songs oh so dramatically called My Dear Melancholy. However cringy you may find the name, I suggest you give it a listen regardless. He has returned to his nostalgic, melancholy roots and has gone depressive on us. It's a very emotional compilation of songs that are mainly about his exes. However, if you've been a fan of his for a while and enjoyed his darker phase, you'll LOVE this. My favourite songs are difficult to choose, but let's say they are Privilege, Call Out My Name and Wasted Times. You can find the whole EP on his official youtube.
○ Khalid - American Teen

Ever since I heard the song Youth that Shawn Mendes did with Khalid, I realized that I needed to give Khalid a listen. I listened to his whole album and loved the vibe. It's so cool and chill and different to anything else that I listen to. It makes me wanna dance around and puts me in a good mood. The fact that Khalid is my age makes me depressed because I'm nowhere near his success, but I can get past that and enjoy his music. My favourite tracks are Location (I'm a basic bitch) and Young Dumb & Broke (not only because I relate to the title). I highly recommend listening to this album and I'm excited to see what Khalid comes out with next.

Since I have been the actual worst blogger for the past month and a half I've decided to try and make it up. I've compiled a list of the songs I'm loving at the moment and I'm sharing it on a whim - I've not been respecting the schedule anyway. So this is an apology playlist that I hope you'll like. Here are some new songs that have caught my ear.

Today I've been very pumped because I started my day with some tunes that put me in the best mood and I thought that it would be nice of me to share them with you because everyone should feel good and dance around their house.
1. Justin Timberlake - Filthy (THIS IS SUCH A TUNE)
13. Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes (if you can't see how this is supposed to make you feel pumped, just try singing along at the top of your lungs - it's great)
BONUS TRACKS:
I know I haven't written in a while, but I've been pretty busy with uni and I've felt a lil uninspired. However, it has started snowing and a new idea immediately came to mind. I haven't made a playlist for quite some time and what's better than listening to some cool tunes while watching the snow fall outside? Well, drinking tea alongside is better. Light your candle, get some tea and enjoy these gems.
1. Michael Buble - Santa Baby (it's already December 3rd which means you were supposed to start listening to Buble about 3 days ago)
2. Niall Horan - This Town (a cosy song for a cosy afternoon spent under the duvet)
17. Arctic Monkeys - I Wanna Be Yours
19. Wet - Dreams (a very unfortunate word combination)
Bloglovin | Twitter | TumblrI've recently remembered the time of discovering a million songs and artists on 8tracks and I thought it would be fun to compile some of my favourite songs from that time into a playlist. I hope you'll enjoy it just like I've enjoyed this reminiscing experience.
2. SoMo - Bad (Wale rendition)
10. The 1975 - Sex (I actually discovered The 1975 on 8tracks and feel in love with them, starting with this song)
14. SG Lewis - Warm
17. TVÃ… - Sensual
18. The xx - Angels
Bloglovin | Twitter | TumblrHey, here's another playlist. This one contains some of the songs that I've discovered and liked recently. You're lucky I'm doing this before Niall's album is released, otherwise it would literally just be his tracklist. Enjoy!
1. Niall Horan - Too Much to Ask (newly discovered cause it just came out lol)
6. Harry Styles - The Chain (Fleetwood Mac cover)
8. Dua Lipa - New Rules (I'm a little obsessed with her atm)
12. Selena Gomez ft. Gucci Mane - Fetish (I really didn't like this one at first, but it grew on me, whoops. How weird is the video, though??)
13. Astrid S - Such A Boy (yes, I discovered this because the guy from SKAM is in it)
14. Harry Styles - Wild Thoughts (cover)
I'm currently studying, but whilst doing so I realized that I haven't done monthly recommendations in a while cause I don't really have a lot to talk about, but I do have a new music obsession. I thought I'd just quickly share it with you.
As you can see from the photo, it's Dua Lipa's album. I discovered her after I heard Niall's cover of Scared to Be Lonely (amazing!) and then I slowly but surely got very into her music. I really like the vibe of the album - it's very up beat and I would say it feels very powerful. She's got some sick lyrics and I'm just becoming a huge fan overall. She kind of reminds me of Halsey sometimes, to be honest, so Halsey fans - you might like her too.
Anyhow, give her a listen and I'm going back to studying now.

I thought rather than doing a playlist of my current favourite songs, I'd let my phone do the work for me and tell me the songs that I play the most. Let's see how obsessed I actually am with The Weeknd and Harry Styles. I'll have to curate it a little bit thought, otherwise it would be very boring, so I'll only include 3 songs per artist. This is a collection of songs that I actually have on my phone, but I do obsess over other ones that I listen to on YouTube.
1. Harry Styles - Kiwi
2. The Weeknd - Secrets
5. Harry Styles - Carolina
6. The Weeknd - Party Monster
9. Halsey - 100 Letters
10. NAV ft. The Weeknd - Some Way (it doesn't count as a 4th The Weeknd song)
12. The Weeknd - Rockin' (I can't find a proper link, sorry)
14. Hozier - Take Me to Church
17. The 1975 - Paris (can't find a good link for this one either, ugh)
19. One Direction - Temporary Fix
20. Lorde - The Louvre
