Everyone's been raving about this mascara for the longest time and I've been lusting over it for a while, so when  my friends what I wanted for my birthday I saw an opportunity and I took it. I've been testing it our for a week and here's what I think about it.
The brush is curved so it's supposed to lift your lashes up and make them nice and curly, I guess. It's got a plastic brush, but it's pretty flexible and the bristles are quite close together. It claims to be a lash multiplying brush that makes the lashes look fuller. I think that is true, but only after two of three coats. If I only apply one coat it just colours my lashes and makes them stand out a bit, but it doesn't do anything special. For everyday makeup I usually stop after the first coat, but for nights out I like to apply two or even three coats. When I do so, my lashes do truly look amazing - full and very dramatic - just the way I like them. It doesn't go clumpy even after three coats, which is always a plus.
In conclusion, I guess I see the hype that's created around this product, but I think I still prefer the Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex (review), although this one is a close second. If you've got any questions about it, write them in the comments below.
I literally don't have any photos of me with this mascara that isn't compromising for my friends.

First of all, sorry for the lack of blog post on Thursday, I wasn't feeling well. Today, I'm gonna tell you about my current favourite makeup remover. It's from a brand called Alverde - it's a German one, I believe, and I don't know if you'll be able to get your hands on it, but if you can, go ahead.
So, this makeup remover is a bit different to your standard one - it's a foam one. What you do is shake it up and squirt a few dollops into your hands and rub it all over your face. You're supposed to just rub it in real good and it dissolves all your makeup. The reason I love it so much is that it literally removes all of your makeup perfectly in less than a minute. It even removes liquid eyeliner and mascara without leaving a trace.
It costs about 500 RSD (4 EUR), I think and it does wonders.
It's a bit scented, though, so that might bother you slightly, but it isn't overpowering at all.
It doesn't break me out or dry out my skin, it just helps me get ready for bed quicker.
I think it's a nice alternative to the usual cleansers and micellar waters, and I actually prefer this one because it literally takes 30 seconds to get the job done.
So it you're looking for something new in your skincare routine, I highly recommend this product.
That's all from me today, talk to you next week.

My birthday is tomorrow and I want to be as positive as possible despite the fact that I need to wake up at half past 6. I thought the best way to stay positive and cheerful was to make a playlist of my favourite happy songs. Here goes.

2. 5 Seconds of Summer - 18 (get it?)
3. Ariana Grande - Break Free

7. The 1975 - UGH!
8. Years & Years - Desire

I'm turning 18 in four days (January 15th), which scares me a little bit, and I'm using it as a kind of a deadline for some things and here is a list of them. I wanna...
○ read Lust for Life by Irving Stone
○ finish researching for my final essay
○ start writing my final essay
○ clean my room completely and maybe move the furniture around
○ start going to bed earlier
○ start waking up earlier
○ stop spending so much time on the Internet
○ become more organised
○ remove Christmas decorations
○ start working out (I know it sounds funny, but I'm actually serious)
○ learn to stay concentrated *googles how to be more concentrated*
○ pay more attention to my journal a.k.a actually write something
○ get a haircut
○ get a library membership
○ go to the library for research
I think that's enough as we are all aware that I probably won't accomplish most of these things and I'm being overly ambitious as always. Maybe that gave you some ideas of what you should do or it inspired you to make your own list. If so, I'd love to read your lists so feel free to leave them in the comments below.

I'm not a big skincare enthusiast, I just kind of use what I have and I don't spend loads of money on fancy products. However, thanks to my sister, I've discovered an Italian skincare brand which I really enjoy using - I Provenzali. I've already done a blog post on my skincare routine which featured some of their products, but now I've got some new ones that I use in the morning.
My morning skincare routine is quite simple and includes only two products.

The first one is their cleansing milk. I apply a small amount onto my fingers and rub it all over my face and then I rinse it off with lukewarm water. It's a really light and gentle formula and it leaves my face looking and feeling really fresh and clean.

After I've washed my face, I go in with this moisturizer. It's an anti aging one, but my mum passed it on to me because it didn't work well with her skin. Fortunately, my skin loves it! It's really light and it doesn't feel sticky at all, it doesn't take long to sink into my skin. Also, it has the nicest scent ever. I really love mixing this moisturizer with my foundation to get a lighter coverage and a healthy glow to my skin.
These two steps take about a minute to do and leave my skin feeling really fresh and make me feel a bit more awake.

If you haven't noticed, I like to do these kind of posts where I give you ideas on what to do when you're sick, when it's raining, etc... However, they always seem to be of similar content. This one will probably be like the rest of them, but I'll try to keep you on your toes. Let's see if I can.
1) If you're an outdoorsy person and like snow, get some friends and go out and have fun playing in the snow and acting like children, cause why not. Snow angels, snowmen and snowballing are always fun. Well, until your hands freeze, anyway.
2) Go ice skating (if you're not scared like me).
3) Go to the movies.
4) Invite friends over for some hot chocolate or tea.
5) Bake cookies - you can turn it into a group activity.
6) Turn yourself into a burrito by getting wrapped up in a blanket.
7) Binge watch your favourite shows. My recent choice has been Mr Robot ad I highly recommend watching it - it is a m a z i n g.
8) Read some books.
9) Watch movies.
10) Make dinner for your friends or family. Or do it together.
All these indoor activities include being wrapped up in a blanket or duvet, by the way.
Basically, just hang out with your friends and family and spend lots of time in the kitchen while wrapped up and cozy.
