o   October TV Show: Suits

Talented actors, beautiful guys and a lot of plot twists - this show will have you hooked whether you are a fan of drama or not. It takes place at a prestige law firm in Manhattan, New York. Harvey, the hotshot lawyer, and Mike Ross, the fraud, take on the world of law inforcement with their brilliant theories and undeniable bromance chemistry. The show does involve a few romantic relationships and a lot of funny scenes. I never used to be a fan of ‘serious shows’ a.k.a shows that aren’t sitcoms, but lately I’ve been branching out of that pattern a lot. My friends made me watch this show, even though I told myself I wouldn’t, and they got me absolutely obsessed. Also, the theme song is such a mood lifter! If you decide to watch it, you’re welcome. Oh, and season 5 comes out in 2015, sorry.
o   October Book: John Green – Paper Towns

I know what you’re thinking – "John Green again". Yes, him again. This is one of those books I’ve been planning on reading for so long and hardly got around to it. But when I did get around to it, oh boy, I could not stop reading it. As always, Mr. Green succeeds to make the readers keep wanting more. I was a mess of emotions while reading this book - from excited to sad to happy to actually scared. I found myself looking around the room to see if I was alone. No, it’s not a horror book in any way, but some parts made me feel a bit jumpy. As every other John Green book, this one is as well overflowing with metaphors, symbols and a bunch of other figures of speech. Even though it is so incredibly difficult to pick only one, I think my favourite quote has to be: “I'm starting to realize that people lack good mirrors. It's so hard for anyone to show us how we look, & so hard for us to show anyone how we feel”. I am not going to give away any details because I feel it could ruin it. I think the quote was enough of a spoiler. To sum up, if you're looking for a good read over the weekend, go for Paper Towns. I will take the blame if you fall in love with it and fail to function properly in real life after you're done reading it.
○ October App: 8tracks

Looking for a free version of Spotify? Well, you needn't look further, I've got you covered. I found this app called 8tracks a few months ago and ever since, I have used it every single day. All you need to do to gain access to an infinite number of playlists is make an account with your e-mail address. It is that simple. Once you've done that, that's where all the fun begins. You can search different genres, artists, titles and you will see long lists of various playlists to chose from. You can also make your own playlists, the only trick is they have to contain at least 8 tracks. My current favourite playlists are: combat boots and flannels (by peetaamellrk), Oblivion (by gabbidk) and 2:39 am (by arcticmonito).
If you decide to join the fun, follow me on my account: xoxoxojo.
○ October Band: The 1975

Everybody who knows me is familiar with the fact that I am obsessed with bands, so it doesn't come as a surprise when I discover a new one (which, by the way, happens very often). Not too long ago, I was just in the middle of listening to a random playlist on 8tracks when I heard a song I quite liked. It was Chocolate by The 1975. And it was not long after that that I noticed their song Sex creep up on me in a bunch of playlists. So I gave them a go and ended up absolutely loving their songs. Their self-titled debut album is a mix of 16 indie rock tracks, my personal favourites are the previously mentioned ones. In a nutshell, they are an English indie rock boy bend with a stunningly attractive lead singer called Matthew (known as Matty) Healy. So, if you have not yet heard about this band, I highly recommend looking them up.
That would be all for my October Recommendations, but don't pout, I've got a lot of hopefully exciting posts coming. Keep your eyes peeled. Come back on Monday for a new playlist.

Today I thought I’d do a blog post about my all time favourite things, as you’ve probably guessed from the title. I thought since I’m doing monthly recommendations, it would be pointless to do monthly favourites as well. This is the next best thing. The favourites won’t be related to fashion or beauty. Now that we’ve got that settled, let’s begin.

Before I get into it, there's a slight change of plans: instead of writing 10 songs weekly, I will be doing 7 - one for each day of the week. My sister gave me this idea (shoutout to her) so I thought it actually might be better to do it that way. Now I can get started.
1. Troye Sivan - Touch
2. Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends
3. Death Cab For Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark
4. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Close As Strangers
5. Simple Plan - Jet Lag
6. Andrew Belle - In My Veins
7. The Neighbourhood - Female Robbery

I've been thinking of doing this blog post for such a long time but I never really got around to it. Here it is today. Introducing: some of my favourite websites, NOT including social media networks.
○ Whenever I am feeling a bit down and antisocial I like to visit a website called the quiet place project. It has a few different ways of helping you get through whatever it is you are dealing with, and I personally find it really helpful. I included this one because I know that everybody has those days when they don't really feel like getting out of bed and being with people, but still want someone to talk to.
Warning: it might make you cry.
○ This one is quite popular actually, but it is so amazing I couldn't skip it. For those of you who like the rain but aren't fortunate enough to live somewhere where it rains, go over to Rainy Mood, play your favourite slow playlist, lit some candles and you have yourself a nice little autumn vibe inside your room.
○ If you are having trouble sleeping or arranging your sleeping pattern, check out this bedtime calculator! It counts how many hours of sleep you'll get if you go to sleep at a certain time or it tells you when you should go to sleep in order to get X hours of sleep. Sounds confusing, but it's not, don't worry.
○ Now, I quite like expressing my creativity through drawing, but there is one little fact stopping me - I suck at it. Luckily enough, I found a website that turns me into the most artsy person there is and it is called Silk. So if you relate to this, go give it a try.
○ Another website that is great for being creative is deffinitely Polyvore. If you are a fan of fashion and beauty, even enterier, this website will blow your mind. Hopefully. The idea is that you show your style by creating sets (outfits/makeup looks/enterier designs) and sharing them with people. I'm sure it doesn't sound as appealing as it is, but I promise you it's a bundle of fun! Also, check out my Polyvore profile (nice little plug).
○ Last but not least, SparkNotes! I'm sure some of you have heard of it, but if you haven't, you're welcome. Basically, it is your little studying buddy. It has loads of information on different topics, such as Literature, Math, Biology, etc. So, if you're having trouble making your own notes, or are looking for some help, there you have it.
Give these a try, and let me know if you like them. If you happen to hate all of these, than I can only suggest you go on tumblr, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram or something of that sort, but I'm sure you already know about all of those.
I might do another one of these posts, but about my favourite Apps? We'll see.
Talk to you Monday!

Another series, yay!
As I mentioned in my first ever blog post, I'm quite a big music enthusiast. I don't feel like explaining my music taste, so I thought I'd make little weekly playlists for you. If I succeed in being consistant of course. I will attempt to list my top 10 songs each week (in no particular order) of the following month. Let's give it a try.

1. The Neighbourbood - Sweater Weather
2. The 1975 - Chocolate
3. Tove Lo - Stay High
4. One Direction - Steal My Girl
5. The 1975 - Sex
6. Harry Styles - Don't Let Me Go
7. Tove Lo - Not On Drugs
8. Joseph SoMo - Bad (Wale Cover)
9. The Neighbourhood - West Coast
10. Go Radio - Goodnight Moon

Give these a listen because they're all awesome and I find most of them very autumnal. Hope you like this idea and the songs as well. Talk to you soon.

It's finally autumn!
When we see that repulsive word September on our calendars, we automatically think of school or work and totally forget that it means a new season is upon us. Without a doubt, autumn is my favourite time of the year. It means you get to layer your clothes and wear boots and bring umbrellas everywhere you go and drink hot drinks and curl up under your duvet and watch your favourite movie or TV show. What's not to love? Here are some of the things that I think autumn is all about.
