The months seem to be flying by like crazy, how come it's November tomorrow already? I've got quite a few things to talk about, so I'll get to it without further ado.
○ October TV Show: Scream Queens
I'm sure most of you have already heard about this show and saw it appearing all over the Internet, which should have been a sign for you to join the bandwagon. If you haven't though, I'll tell you a little bit about it. It's categorized as a comedy and horror, which is the  best way to describe it really. It's kind of like a parody of all stupid horror movie moments, which we all know are very common. The plot is based around a group of sorority girls who face a serial killer on the loose on the campus and there's at least one character killed off in each episode. Because the majority of main characters are females, it is kind of a girly TV show, but it's super funny regardless. There are a lot of famous people starring in the show such as Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas and Emma Roberts who is the queen B in the sorority called Chanel. If you're looking for a funny TV show that's very addictive and engaging, I highly recommend this one, and don't be put off by it being called a horror because it's really not all that scary.
○ October Movie: Think Like a Man
Boy, why have I not watched this earlier? It is definitely my favourite comedy movie I've ever watched, and that's not an exaggeration. It's about a group of guys who all seem to meet their love interests at the same time, but little do they know Steve Harvey's betrayed them as men releasing a book called Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. Of course, all the women go crazy over the book in hope to learn how to get and keep a man. It doesn't sound like much, but trust me, with Kevin Hart in it, you literally cannot watch it with a straight face. If I haven't sold you, go watch the trailer and thank me later. Don't wanna brag, but I've recommended it to all of my friends, and all of them loved it. If you do watch it and you want more of its awesomeness, worry no more cause there's a sequal called Think Like a Man Too. I'm getting really excited over it now, so I'm gonna move on to the next thing.
○ October Album: Sounds Good Feels Good
If you happen to be a 5SOS fan, you've probably learnt the lyrics to every single song on the album already, much like myself. If you're not a 5SOS fan, listen to the album anyway and you'll be converted. I honestly don't know what to say about it, but I just had to mention it and I'm sure you'll be seeing lots of their new songs in my upcoming playlists.
○ October Artist: Melanie Martinez
I've been a fan of her song Dollhouse for about a year and recently I've come across some more of her songs that I absolutely loved and I decided to listen to her whole album Cry Baby. And boy, am I glad I did. She kind of reminds me of Halsey, so if you like that kind of music, give her a listen. They say her genre is electropop, which seems weird to me, but I'll trust the professionals. The lyrics of her songs are very straightforward, some a bit creepy, but all in all very honest. She's got this thing with innocent, childish titles and metaphors, but there's nothing really childish about what she's saying. My fave songs are Soap, Pity Party, Play Date, Pacify Her and Training Wheels. If you like Halsey's vibe, I'm sure you'll like Melanie's as well; if you don't know who Halsey is either, give both of them a listen.
○October YouTube Channel: extrasunbeamsjess
I've been loving her Vlogtober videos for some reason. Her voice is really soothing and calm and also I've been enjoying hearing about her UNI experience. If you like watching vlogs, check her out.

That's all for this month, you can see there's not a book in here again, I've just been too busy with school to read anything that's not been assigned by my teacher. I'll try and read more in November, though.I hope you like some of these things, and I'll talk to you on Thursday.

There are tons of no makeup-makeup looks, so why not make a no mascara-mascara one? Basically, I'm gonna tell you two really simple steps for achieving this look. It will make your eyes pop and your lashes will be nice and luscious without the fuss of applying mascara, cause sometimes it's just nice to skip it, right?
You only need two things in order to get this look - eyelash curler and some lip balm.
First step: curl your lashes so that they have a bit more volume and curl to them (obviously).
Second step: take the lip balm and apply it on you lashes using your finger.
And there you have it - a natural looking mascara look. Obviously you don't have to go for this look if you prefer something more dramatic, but I think it's a good alternative for those chill days when you can't be bothered with applying and removing lots of makeup.
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to show you what it looks like, but you can figure it out on your own.

As I am currently feeling feverish and very under the weather, I decided to make a list of things to do on these kind of days. I've made a similar post in the past, so you can check that out here. If you're feeling poorly as well, I hope you get well soon!

1) Watching YouTube is always a good idea and being sick is a great excuse to binge watch your favourite youtubers.
2) If, however, you're not into YouTube, you can always binge watch a TV show. My current recommendations would be Scandal or How To Get Away With Murder as the new seasons are smashing it.
3) I'm not a big movie fan, but sometimes it's fun to make some popcorn and relax with a nice rom-com. Last night I watched About Last Night and I did actually enjoy it.
4) If you don't have temperature, books are always a great time killer. If you don't have the energy to concentrate, go for something simple and easy like a Y/A novel or maybe a chick-lit one if you're into that.
5) The best part of being sick is being able to do whatever you want with the excuse of being sick, which means you can take a nap at any time of day.
6) Tumblr is always a good option, so put on some music in the background and you're all set.
7) Provided you have enough energy, you can always make some cookies which will definitely put you in a better mood.
8) This one isn't too fun, but you can catch up on your schoolwork as you're not really doing much else.
9) In case you are just feeling bad and not actually ill, you can invite some of your friends over and make a movie night or something of that sort. Lots of snacks should be involved, obviously.
10) In order to feel a bit better and energized, I recommend drinking lots of tea, vitamin C and eating a lot of soup. That's what always brings me back to life.
11) Light some candles, put on some nice music and take a long soothing bath. You can also bring a book into the mix if you feel like it. If you don't like baths, just take a prolonged shower.
I hope I gave you some ideas cause that's all I do when I'm poorly. Talk to you Thursday, hopefully completely healthy.

I know I've already done a blog post telling you 25 facts about myself, but I've decided to do a 30 Day Writing Challenge (privately) and this was the first task on the list, so I decided to turn it into a blog post. The task is to write one interesting thing about yourself for each year of your life. I'll try not to repeat myself.
1. I am currently having an existential crisis whilst deciding what to study in college.
2. Recently I've been seriously into cooking and trying to eat a bit healthier, although I do really wanna make Tanya Burr's amazing chocolate cookies this weekend.
3. I am almost always in serious need of a nap.
4. I wish all my beauty products could be vanilla scented.
5. At the moment Amsterdam, Stockholm and Copenhagen are at the top of my list of places I wanna visit.
6. My hands always seem to be freezing cold.
7. My life won't be complete until I own a pug.
8. I've been very stressed out for the past two weeks and I really wish I could curl up in my duvet and spend the weekend in bed.
9. I'm absolutely terrified of going off to college, but I'm also kind of excited about it.
10. I've never watched the whole Titanic and don't really plan on doing so.
11. I desperately need to wash my makeup brushes.
12. I really wanna go back to Switzerland.
13. I am bored of my town and wish I could go on a massive road trip with my best friends.
14. I've come to terms with never being able to work out longer than a month.
15. I miss long late night chats me and my friends regularly had this summer.
16. Only a few of my friends know about my blog even though I've had it for more than a year.
17. I'll be 18 and legal in less than 3 months, which is a bit scary (I AM SO OLD).

I'm back with another review, this time on KIKO Stick Eyeshadows as you can see from the title. I've mentioned these in one of my previous blog posts and I've promised a review so here it is.
I've got two shades and I love both of them. I think they're very versatile and really easy to use, especially if you're a beginner or simply don't have a lot of time to do your makeup. They're easy to blend and will last all day. They're €6.90, but you might be able to get them on offer. Check them out on the KIKO website.
The first shade is this gorgeous autumnal one - 37 Burgundy. If you've got green or hazel eyes, this will bring out the green in them like nothing else. I've been loving using this shade all over the lid to add a pop of colour. What I like to do is apply it close to my lash line and blend it upwards which creates a kind of a messy red smokey eye. Another thing I like to do with this colour is apply it in the water line and smudge it out a bit (I only do this when I've got neutral colours on my lids).
The other one I've got is in the colour 38 Golden Taupe - it's a stunning taupe shade that's got little specks of gold in it. The way I've been using this one is all over the lid with either a burgundy or a brown colour in the crease. It's very handy and super versatile because it's a pretty neutral colour.
I haven't tried using these two together, but that might also work. I hope this has been helpful and I'll talk to you on Thursday.

I feel like I haven't created a playlist in a while, even though it's probably not true. However, as I currently have a lot of exams coming my way, I though this would be an appropriate one if you're having the same struggle. First of all I wanna apologize for how late this blog post is, I've had a lot of technical difficulties, but it's here now. As I've done some shopping and have been gifted a few things recently, I thought it would be a good idea to share them with you and give you a little preview on some future reviews. Here we go.
First are these two KIKO Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadows in the shades 38 and 37. 38 is a nice cool toned brown with some gold specks and 37 is more of an autumnal shade as it's a burgundy one.
Next up is this foundation which I've already done a review on, but this time it's in a glass bottle. I might do an updated review on in though. I think the only difference is that this one has an SPF.
These two I don't know the name of because I stole them from my sister (love you), but they are also from KIKO. They are both cool toned, but one is more of a purple whereas the other one is more of a taupe shade I guess. I'm really bad at describing colors, soz.
Last, but not least is my newest addition to the family and it's another Rimmel mascara. This time it's the Wonder'full one and I'll be writing a review on it when I test it out properly.

Those are all the new bits that have found their place in my makeup box. Hope you're as excited for the reviews as I am. Talk to you soon.

These month's recommendations are a bit late and there isn't a lot of them, but there are some good bits so stick around.
○ September TV Show: Sex and the City
I know everyone is probably over this show, but it's what I've been binge watching this month. I'm sure you all know what it's about - four women and their love lives basically - so I'm not getting into detail. Before you think I've gone mad, I don't consider this a particularly good television piece, but it is a really fun show to relax to. It's also very addictive. So in case you run out of Scandal episodes and Downton Abbey doesn't appeal to you, you might find this a good time killer.
○September Album: Blurryface
Where have I been all this time and why have I discovered this album just now? If your music taste is similar to mine (which you can tell if you follow my playlists) I highly recommend giving 21 pilots a listen, this album in particular. I'll be honest, I haven't listened to their previous music, so hate me if you must, but this album is on point. It's what I've been listening to this whole month and neglected all the other songs because of. Their genre is described as alternative hip hop, electropop and indie pop, if that means anything to you. As always, I'll tell you my favourite songs: Heavydirtysoul, Lane Boy, Ride, Stressed Out, Polarize, Tear in My Heart and Fairly Local, so most of the album. So, apart from Halsey, this is probably my favourite recent discovery.
○ September High Street Store: H&M
I know this isn't an unknown thing to anyone, obviously, but I've managed to find amazing autumn/winter pieces in H&M this month so I had to put it into this post. When I paid a visit to H&M they were having a huge discount on some bits, and I was successful enough to find a jacket for €20 (reduced €40) and a sweater for €10 (reduced from €20). So, even if the sale is maybe over, I'm sure you can find something that suits you and your budget. Good luck!
That's all for this month. As you can see, I haven't watched any movies (no surprise there really) and the only book I've read was Shakespeare's Hamlet (feel free to give that a go if you want), so these recommendations are a bit poor. I hope you like them anyway, talk to you soon.

As you can probably tell, I've been obsessed with writing tags for some reason; I just love answering questions, I don't really know why that is. Anyhow, here comes another as you can see from the title.

1) Bath and Body Works candles or Yankee candles?
I'm going to go for Yankee candles simply because I've never smelled a Bath & Body Works one.

2) Favourite fall accessory?
I love beanies and huge scarves, even though I don' own any huge scarves I've always wanted one. However, I'm not a fan of gloves even though my hands are freezing 99% of time.

3) Uggs or moccasins?
I don't own a pair of either one, but I'm gonna go for Uggs just because my feet are cold at the moment and I feel like they're warmer.

4) Fuzzy socks or knee socks?
Oh, man. I'm a love all socks, so both are a great choice for me. I think, however, I'm gonna go for fuzzy socks this time, as they're a bit warmer and comfier.

5) North Face or Columbia?
If I'm totally honest, I don't really care as this is the first time I've heard of North Face and never really thought much about Columbia. I'd rather have a nice parka that doesn't look as sporty...

6) Favourite fall food?
I don't really categorize food seasonally, but the thing I'd really like to eat right now is garlic bread with fried bacon and some cheese on the side and a hot cup of tea. Is that good enough?

7) Red or pink lips?
Red lips all the way. Well, actually I'd go for a berry lip, but that's more similar to red than pink, so.

8) Winged eyeliner or bold eyeshadow?
This definitely depends on my mood, cause sometimes I just don't feel like going through the trouble of doing winger eyeliner, but I love both looks. I also like combining them.

9) Natural/cold/light or Bold/warm/dark makeup?
My favourite type of eyeshadow look is a natural/brown/warm; a nice neutral eyeshadow all over the lid and then a combo of a few brown shades in the crease. I also really like burgundy eyeshadows for the bottom lash line.

10) Apple pie or brownies?
Brownies, obviously! I'd never go for apple pie, but brownies are always a good dessert food.

11) Would you rather cook the food or eat it?
I don't get this question - I'd first cook it and then eat it, I don't need to separate the two.

That's all for this tag, it was a fun one for me to write and hopefully for you to read. I'm off to school now, talk to you Saturday!
