L'Oreal Infallible 24h-Matte Foundation | Review
I ran out of my trusty Rimmel 25h Lasting Finish Foundation and that put me in the position of having to get a new product. After a lot, a lot of research, I decided to go for this beauty right here. Here's what I think about it.
First off, I love that it's a 35ml package as opposed to the usual 30ml foundation packaging especially considering the great price of the product. I also like that it's in a tube because it's travel friendly and not too bulky for your makeup bag.
In the past I've used the L'Oreal True Match Foundation, but I was not too impressed; it's a whole different story with this one.
The consistency is pretty light and you can't feel it on you skin once you've applied it. I apply it with a beauty blender and it provides a very natural appearance, while still covering all of my imperfections and making my skin look absolutely amazing. I would say this foundation is medium to full coverage, but even the full coverage doesn't look cakey.
It dries pretty quickly, so I would try and blend it in as soon as possible, and after it is dry it looks very much like skin. It lasts really well on me and keep in mind that my T-zone gets very oily very quickly. I found that I got oily after about 5 or 6 hours, which is incredible, and I didn't have to touch up too much at all.
My local drugstore doesn't really have an abundance of shades, so I'm not sure about the range, but I managed to find my perfect shade which is Natural Rose.
So, in conclusion: if you've got oily skin and like a good coverage foundation, I would recommend this foundation a hundred percent. It's long wearing, keeps you matte almost all day long and covers everything that it needs to cover - what more could you ask for? However, if you're skin is really dry, I don't know how it would get along with this product as it tends to cling to dry patches, but maybe you could combine it with a good moisturizer.
