Holidays are all about relaxing, spending time with family and friends and taking a break from our busy lives. At least that's what I like to do during the holidays. A major part of my chill time is binge-watching some great TV shows and not leaving my bed. If that's what you like to do on your downtime as well, this post is for you. I want to share some of the shows that I absolutely adore and that I think are worth your time. I've re-watched some of these shows more times that I'd like to admit. But that just goes to show how great they are.

Drama shows you need to watch

Gossip Girl

Fist and foremost, you need to watch Gossip Girl. If you haven't already watched this amazing show, you need to come out from under that rock you've been living under and start watching it now. This time of year always makes me want to re-watch this show and I've just finished it a few weeks ago. I'm afraid to admit exactly how many times I've watched the entirety of the show, so I won't.

This is a cult show about the kids of the Upper East Side. It shows the glamorous life of some of the richest people in New York. It's scandalous, dramatic, full of plot twists and surprises. The main characters are teenagers from very rich families who are navigating life with the help of their trust funds. We get to see how they change throughout the years, how they grow and become adults. Not only are they rich and popular, but they're also the target of a gossip website called Gossip Girl that airs all of their dirty laundry and pretty much ruins their lives multiple times over the years.

The characters are very layered and you get to know all their different sides throughout the show. Other than that, the relationships between them are pretty complicated and it's super interesting to follow their journeys. It's very appealing to watch a show that pays so much attention to details, the wardrobe and the sets. Everything is very luxurious and expensive and it seems like a dream world. The storyline never gets boring or predictable as they really like to introduce new characters and surprise the viewers with a bunch of twits. I promise, you've never watched a show with so much drama and it's simply incredible. I think it's safe to say this is among my all-time favorite shows, and that's a big statement.

Why Women Kill

If you're looking for an intriguing and captivating drama series, but you can't really commit to watching 6 seasons of it, I recommend Why Women Kill. There's only one season so far, so you can binge it in a matter of days, if not hours.

This is a show that follows three different couples who've lived in the same house. One couple is from the 60s, the second one from the 80s and the third from 2019. All of the stories end with death, which is pretty obvious. However, the interesting thing is that you don't know who the killer is, who the victim is or why until the very end. It's not a predictable, cliché show. It's very gripping and it will fully grab your attention. If you want a quick, but dramatic and unique show to watch over the Christmas break, this one is a great choice.

Comedy shows to binge

Friends

I couldn't exactly talk about binge-watching TV shows without at least mentioning Friends. This is, no doubt, the show I've re-watched the most times and I can quote pretty much every single scene.

If you're looking for a funny show to distract you during the holidays, you can't go wrong with Friends. Whenever I don't know what to watch or I just need something short and fun to watch while taking a break, I always turn to Friends. That's how I end up watching the entire show at least once every year, but that's another topic. I don't think this show needs any explaining as it's a cult classic and everybody has heard of it. So, if you're having a lazy day and you want something that will keep you entertained, you know what to do.

Sex And the City

This show might not scream ''Christmas!'', but it does scream entertainment. Just like Friends, this is another classic show that most people have already watched. However, it's also a show that you can't get bored of and that you can re-watch time and time again. At least that's what I do. I'm currently on the second season of Sex And the City and I am loving it. It's fun, funny, unique and it allows you to turn your brain off and just relax. What more do you need from a sitcom, really? Again, I don't think I need to describe this show to you, you've definitely heard of it.

The Good Place

The Good Place is a relatively new comedy show that has a very interesting and one of a kind storyline. It's about the afterlife and the idea of heaven and hell, or the good and the bad place. It talks about how people earn the right to go to the good place, if people can change and get better and many other ethical questions. It's super interesting to watch a show that deals with such complex philosophical ideas while still managing to be relatable, funny and easy to follow. It's definitely not like any other sitcom I've watched, so I highly recommend giving it a go.

So, those are all the TV shows I wanted to talk about. I've watched all of these pretty recently and that's why I wanted to shout them out and recommend them to anyone who's looking for something fun to watch. I absolutely love all of these shows and I hope you will to. Feel free to recommend other TV shows to binge during the holidays in the comments below and I'll talk to you soon. Have fun!

*The photos of the shows are not mine.

I swear, my goal isn't to be a music blog. Yes, I know all I'm doing recently is talking about music and making playlists, but that's what I find interesting and what I have time for. I love recommending music, so that's what I'm doing yet again.
For the past month or so, I've been listening to a few albums and artists and I've decided to share my favorite tracks. There will be a lot of Rex Orange County (as per usual), Harry Styles, Kali Uchis and Billie Eilish. Sorry if it's a bit repetitive, but it's a great playlist, trust me.
I've compiled some of my favorite songs during November and put them in a little playlist over on my Spotify. You can go over there and listen to all of my favorite songs, but for now, let's focus on the tunes I've been loving for the past month. Hi, you need to listen to this album. My favorite baby has finally released new music and I am obsessed. Shocker, I know. Well, I want everyone else to love it as much as I do. If you aren't already religiously listening to PONY, it's time you start.

It's fun, it's upbeat (for the most part) and most importantly, it's beautiful. As always, the lyrics of each song hit the feels like nothing else. It's an album full of beautiful words and melodies that are in true Rex Orange County - different, unexpected, surprising. You can't put Rex in a box and define his genre. You can just enjoy his gorgeous songs. As expected, the songs are pretty emotional and you'll hear some sad lyrics with upbeat, happy melodies. What are my favorite songs? I don't know if I'm ready to answer that. I'll give you a rough idea, though: It Gets Better, Always, Face to Face, Pluto Projector, Never Had the Balls, It's Not the Same Anymore. Okay, I've named six out of ten songs. Way to narrow it down.

I've been listening to this album every day ever since it came out and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I feel like his music always speaks to my soul and something about it really resonates with me. I just think Rex deserves way more attention and love as his music is absolutely incredible and unique. So, just go and listen to this masterpiece. That's all I wanted to say today. Talk to you sometime soon.

I've wanted to write this post for a while, but procrastination got the best of me. Basically, I listed a few products that I continue to repurchase the second I run out of them. I can't imagine stopping using one of these. I guess you could call these my holy grail products. Here they are.

Maybelline Lash Sensational

There is absolutely no denying that this is the best mascara in the world. Maybelline just knows the secret mascara and that's obvious. I've tried many mascaras in my time, but none of them come close to the Maybelline Lash Sensational. When I use this mascara, I don't even need to curl my straight lashes beforehand! It's that good. I have found a technique that works well and my lashes always end up looking like falsies. It gives my eyelashes volume, length and curl and there's nothing more I could ask from a mascara. I have repurchased this product A LOT of times and I will continue to do so as long as it exists.

Mixa Hyalurogel Light

I've talked about this moisturizer a bunch of times already, sorry. It's just sooo good! This is my 5th or 6th time repurchasing this cream. It is light, pleasant, refreshing and moisturizing. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin or leave a thick layer. It might not work for dry skin, but there is a heavier version called Mixa Hyalurogel Rich. So, you can try that if you need serious moisturizing. I don't have anything bad to say about this product, it ticks all the boxes and my skin loves it. You can read more about this product in the review I wrote when I first started using it.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer

This is one of my favorite concealers of all time and the concealer with the longest name of all time. It's lightweight, but it provides enough coverage. The shade is perfect for my skin tone and I can use it alone on good skin days. I love the finish that it has and how my skin looks after I apply this concealer. It's not full-coverage, but it still does the job well. It has a natural-looking finish and makes my skin look really fresh. This is another product I've already written a review on because I love it that much. Once again, well done Maybelline.

Garnier Micellar Water

This is a classic. Everyone and their mum have used this micellar water because it is affordable and it works really well. I use this product to remove my makeup at the end of the day. I've tried other micellar waters, but this one suits me best. It doesn't leave the skin feeling dry or stripped. It is gentle and just does what it's supposed to. Of course, after removing my makeup with this, I cleanse my skin with other products to make sure there is absolutely nothing left on it. So, if you're looking for a good micellar water and you somehow haven't tried this one, it's time to give it a whirl.

There are, of course, a more products that I absolutely adore, but these ones have a special place in my heart. Share your experiences with these below or tell me about your holy grails! We'll talk soon.

Hey, so today I thought it would be fun to talk to you about all of the artists that I adore and I listen to every day. I love recommending music to people (as you can probably tell by all the playlists I make) and I think it's fun to find cool new artists. So, if you're like me and you like finding new music to enjoy, continue reading.

I just spent the best three weeks on a summer course in Sweden. And while it was amazing for my soul, my social life and my knowledge of Swedish, it wasn't so great for my skin. For some reason unknown to me, my skin really didn't enjoy my stay in Sweden and it was inflamed and full of breakouts almost the entire time. It may have had something to do with the copious amounts of cinnamon buns I ate, but you can't blame me for that. One thing that my skin did agree with, though, was going to Ã…hléns and buying a few of The Ordinary skincare products. I didn't want to go ham, but I did have to purchase three products that I'd heard great things about. Here they are.

Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

The first product is this amazing The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. My, oh my, has this been fixing my skin! I feel like out of the three products this one has contributed most to my skin clearing up.

This is an AHA which is great for exfoliating the skin. It's a chemical exfoliant. I feel like this is the perfect product to use after a long day of wearing makeup. After removing your makeup, you want to make sure every last bit is gone. This toner will help get your skin completely clean. However, this isn't only something to use to ensure that your face is clean, this is a miracle worker when it comes to different things. It has helped my skin clear up and I have been breaking out much, much less since using this baby. It's also helped with texture and it's just made my skin look better overall. I only use this toner a few nights a week and I can still notice great results.

If you decide to use this product, you need to be careful with it. If your skin stings when you apply it, that is normal - it just means your skin isn't used to acids. If that's the case, start by using it 2 or 3 times a week. Don't go overboard. You can gradually start using it more often based on how your skin is reacting. If there's some pealing, that's also okay. You should introduce it into your skincare routine slowly. Also, don't forget to wear SPF during the day when you're using an acid like this.

Niacinamide 10% + Zink 1%

This next one is a product I love using because it feels so lush applying a product with a dropper. Is it just me that finds that satisfying? Anyhow, Niacinamide helps clean your pores and get rid of any congestion. It's meant to prevent breakouts and the Zinc helps with that. They say it also helps with sebum activity, but I think that's a little bit difficult to determine. All in all, I've been using this product every day, both in the morning and at night for the past month. I love using it and I feel like it's made a huge difference in my skin in combination with the two other products.

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%

I love using this product in the evening after I moisturize. So, the procedure is: cleanse, apply niacinamide, moisturize, apply vitamin C. Oh, I forgot to mention - this is a vitamin C derivative. Vitamin C is really good for brightening your skin and making it look fresher and it's an antioxidant. Some vitamin C derivatives don't work well with niacinamide, but this particular one does and that's why I chose the The Ordinary's Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%. I don't have much more to say about this product, but I do feel like my skin has been looking a bit brighter and healthier.

I am, of course, not a skincare expert, but I've done a lot of research on these babies. I don't know which one is the most effective or which one has made the biggest difference because I started using them at the same time. All I know is that my skin has been much better, clearer, fresh-looking and my skin tone has been more even. I feel like some acne scars are starting to fade thanks to these puppies as well. So, all in all, I am over the moon about this purchase and I would definitely recommend finding skincare products from The Ordinary that are suitable for your skin.

I know that I wrote a skincare routine two months ago, but when you have problematic skin, you need to try out lots of products before finding the perfect ones. Well, I guess I've found mine. Thanks, The Ordinary, you're a skin-saver.

I've been gone for a while again. I don't have an excuse. But, I am back and I'm here to tell you how you can waste your time this summer. Basically, I've really wanted to write a post about all the TV shows I've binged on Netflix. I'm about to write mini-reviews of them so you can decide whether you want to watch them or not. A little warning before you start reading: not all of them are good, but Netflix makes it so easy to binge that sometimes you don't even care what you're watching. Here we go.

I think after this post I'll be done with writing about skin, so just bear with me. I've been really enjoying the products I'm currently using so I thought I'd give them a shout-out. I'll show you both my morning and my nighttime routine in this post. Let's dig in.

Yes, I know I am very late to the game, but it doesn't matter. Better late than never.
Of course, I'd heard of Stranger Things way back in the day when it first came out. However, the hype annoyed me and I was scared to watch it cause some people said it was a scary show. I was a fool, I admit.
A week ago, something clicked in my brain and told me Watch Stranger Things. So, I went on Netflix and thus began my infatuation with this show. I binged the entire first season in one day. One day! I couldn't stop despite having more important things to do. It was a rainy, miserable Sunday and staring at the computer screen the entire day seemed like the only reasonable way to spend it.
It is not a scary TV show at all and I quickly realized that it was stupid of me to dismiss the show because of that fear. It also became clear to me pretty quickly that the hype the show got really was well deserved. I was glued to the screen and needed to see the ending.
If you are among the few people in the world who haven't watched the show, here's a quick recap. First of all, it's one of the most intense and exciting shows I've ever watched. The suspense in certain scenes was killing me and I almost wanted to fast forward a little bit just to see what was about to happen. It was stressful, but I loved it. It had been a long time since a TV show gripped me so much. It's centered around a group of kids whose friend goes missing and their families. It's not a crime show, though. They are trying to figure out what happened to Will (the missing boy), where he is and how they can bring him back. There are some weird and unbelievable things happening in their town, and all I will say is that it kind of has to do with parallel universes. I don't want to give away too much, you should probably watch a trailer instead of reading a description as words can't do it justice. Or just watch the show. The cast is absolutely amazing and the kids are much better at acting than many adult actors. They are very convincing and they the way they show off emotions is very believable. Hats off to them.
So, yes. I am obsessed and I admit that it was stupid of me to refuse to watch this show. It's very easily become my favourite show and I cannot wait for season 3. Have a good day and go watch Stranger Things.

In my previous two posts, I briefly mentioned that I have recently been trying to get better after going through some tough times. As I have pretty much gotten back on my feet and I've been feeling very happy and grateful recently, I've decided to share some tips with you. Everyone goes through bad times, some worse than others, and everyone gets better. Here's what I've learned in the process.

Music has been very important to me these past few months and it has been making me very happy. I've compiled a huge playlist of my fave songs over on Spotify, but for this post I've separated the ones that make me dance into a smaller playlist. If you're looking for a lil' pick-me-up, click here and check out these sick tunes. You'll notice a lot of Rex Orange County, just trust me on this one, that's how it's supposed to be. I hope these make you as happy as they make me. Enjoy!

Hey there. What's up? How have you been? I've been absent for a long ass time, I know. I've been through some awful shit and then I focused on getting my life in order and paying attention to the people in my life and having a good time and just becoming happy again. I feel like I'm at a much better place now and I hope I'll be inspired enough to come on here more often and write something fun. For today, I wanted to share a little epiphany that I've had.

I am coming back after a break that was way too long and I'm about to share some music with you. Again. This time, however, I'm not talking about my favourite albums, but making a playlist of some songs that I've had on repeat for the past few days. I've gone back to listening to indie music like I used to years ago. It's a vibe. I love having these in the background whilst studying as they're nice and chill and not too distracting. I found most of these on Deezer and I'm in love with this playlist. Get your headphones ready, this is gonna be a long one. I've created this playlist on Deezer, so if you'd like to listen to it as a whole a little bit easier click here and enjoy.
