We all like to wind down from time to time and have a relaxing night in. I am a huge fan of movie nights and me and my friends have perfected it, I feel like. For a successful movie night you'll need:
○ Friend(s) - watching movies is always fun, but when you're in the company of good friends, everything is much better.
○ A few movies that are as close to everyone's cup of tea as possible - even though watching movies is better with friends, it's also much more difficult to find a movie that you'll all enjoy. The more, the merrier, of course, but also the more, the bigger struggle to agree.
○ Lots of popcorn -  because what's a movie without popcorn?
○ Lots of crisps and other snacks - because popcorn is not enough.
○ Beverages of choice
○ Lots of pillows and blakets - everyone should be comfotable enough to fall asleep if they end up not liking the movie.
○ Preferably an empty house - just because you'll probably make a lot of noise if there's a lot of you.
○  Candles to set the mood - because that's what we see in movies and youtubers' houses. But it does also look cute and it smells good.
If you've got any other suggestions, be sure to leave them down below in the comments.

Before I go off to college and say goodbye to all of my spare time, I want to actually read some books for pleasure instead just for school. So far this summer break, I’ve been spending all my time watching BuzzFeed, handing out with friends and generally wasting my time on the Internet. Well, that’s about to change. Here are some books that I’d like to read before college.
1. F. Scott Fitzgerald - The Great Gatsby
This is the book that I’m currently reading and you might remember me saying that in one of my previous posts. If so, you can tell how slow it’s going. That’s only because I’ve had a hard time actually getting into it, but I finally have and I’ll hopefully read it on the plane to Rome or at least when I get there.
2. At least one Agatha Cristie novel
Whenever I watched one of the movie adaptations with my parents, I loved them, so I figure I’m gonna enjoy the books even more. As we have a bunch of her novels in our house, I’d like to take that opportunity to read them.
3. Erlend Loe - Gone With The Woman
I got this book as a gift about a month ago and I’d like to see if I’d actually like it. I haven’t heard anything about it, so I don’t really know what to expect.
4. Natalia Ginzburg - The City and the House
I was recommended this book by my mum quite a while ago, but I haven’t really gotten around to reading it. It’s quite a short novel, so if  I focused properly, I could definitely finish it quickly. Mum said it was one of her favourite books, so hopefully I’ll like it.
Hopefully I’ll read even more books, but I don’t wanna be overly ambitious as per usual. If I like any of these, I’m sure I’ll write about them in my Monthly Recommendations or in a separate blog post, so you’ll be updated.

I'm currently in Rome as you're reading this and before I left I decided to take photos of all the makeup I wanted to take with me. I tried to make a small selection and not overpack, so here's what I ended up packing.
Face Products:

Primer: NYX Shine Killer
It's always hot in Rome, so I knew I'd need a primer to keep my makeup in place.
Foundation: L'Oreal True Match
I picked this foundation over the Rimmel one for 2 reasons: 1) it's feels much lighter on the skin and 2) it matches my current skin colour better.
Concealer: Aura Conceal Me
I chose this one even though it's lighter coverage than the NYX HD one because it also matches my skin tone better.
Palettes:

I took the NYX Natural palette solely because I've been using the darkest shade from it to fill in the tail of my brows.
The NYX contouring palette is what I'll be using to contour, but I'll also be using it instead of eyeshadows. I think this palette is an amazing 2 in 1 if you're like me and love a brown smokey eye.
Brows & Lashes:

Lash Curler
Eyebrow gel - Essence lash & brow clear mascara
Mascara - Maybelline The Falsies Feather Look with the Maybelline Lash Sensational wand
I bought the Feather Look mascara thinking that it would be as good as the regular The Falsies, but I absolutely hate this one. As my Lash Sensational has dried out, I've been using the wand from it and the formula of the other one (although I don't like the formula either).
Brows - NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder
Eyeshadows & Eyeliners:

Gold eyeshadow - Isabelle Dupont
Because I'm decided not to take an eyeshadow palette, I packed this single gold eyeshadow in case I feel like wearing a bit of shimmer.
Cream gold eyeshadow - Wjcon Creamy Push Metallic Eyeshadow (11)
Liquid eyeliner - Golden Rose
White pencil eyeliner - Essence
Lip Products:

Lip liner - NYX (Peekaboo Neutral)
Nude lipsticks - Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick (01), NYX Matte Lipstick (Butter), NYX Liquid Suede (Sandstorm)
That's all the makeup that I packed. As you can tell, I really tried to downsize the amount because I don't want my makeup bag to be overflowing with products that I'll end up not using at all.

As you've probably been able to tell, I've been absolutely horrible at blogging recently. Apparently, I've ran out of products to talk about and couldn't take good selfies for makeup tutorials and with that, everything went downhill. Well, there's one thing I've been good at: watching things and wasting time on the Internet. Here's what I've been loving...

July TV Show: Suits
I know, I know, I've already talked about this show, but that was quite some time ago and this is an update sort of thing. There are only a few episodes of season 6 out, but I am loving every single on of them. Each episode comes with new problems, as always, and almost every one ends with a cliff-hanger. I won't talk about the details or what the show is about because I already did that when I first started watching it. However, if you were disappointed midway through the show, got bored or annoyed, I would strongly recommend continuing watching it because it's worth is. The latest season is killing the game with all the suspense and drama.
July Movie: Get Hard
If you know me, you'll know that everything that Kevin Hart is always able to get me to laugh hysterically and this movie was no exception. Will Ferrell's character is an insanely rich man who's got everything in the world until he's charged with fraud and embezzlement. Kevin Hart's character ends up preparing him for a maximum security prison by turning his mansion into a mock prison and making his staff act as inmates and prison guards. It's an all round funny movie, I couldn't recommend it enough if you're into comedies and if you don't mind swearing.
July YouTube Channel(s): BuzzFeed
I think I've been spending about 60% of my days watching BuzzFeed videos. They've got an amazing selection on their multiple YouTube channels. There are lots to choose from and they're great at being very witty, relatable and very interesting to watch. Once I watch one video, I find myself clicking on the ones on the side for hours. There are also lots of videos that I've rewatched a few times because I loved them so much. They have a bunch of series and different segments. My favourite videos to watch are Ladylike and The Try Guys. I also enjoyed the You Do You series and basically everything from BuzzFeedViolet.

Recently I seem to be very bad at thinking of blog post ideas, so I figured why not post some photos that I've been taking - that way I don't have to actually talk. Warning: most of these are photos of the sky.
