Everyone's been raving about this mascara for the longest time and I've been lusting over it for a while, so when my friends what I wanted for my birthday I saw an opportunity and I took it. I've been testing it our for a week and here's what I think about it.
The brush is curved so it's supposed to lift your lashes up and make them nice and curly, I guess. It's got a plastic brush, but it's pretty flexible and the bristles are quite close together. It claims to be a lash multiplying brush that makes the lashes look fuller. I think that is true, but only after two of three coats. If I only apply one coat it just colours my lashes and makes them stand out a bit, but it doesn't do anything special. For everyday makeup I usually stop after the first coat, but for nights out I like to apply two or even three coats. When I do so, my lashes do truly look amazing - full and very dramatic - just the way I like them. It doesn't go clumpy even after three coats, which is always a plus.
In conclusion, I guess I see the hype that's created around this product, but I think I still prefer the Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex (review), although this one is a close second. If you've got any questions about it, write them in the comments below.
I literally don't have any photos of me with this mascara that isn't compromising for my friends.
