Jovana Tomin

I need to scream for a few hours because the time is going way too quickly and I don't wanna grow up. It's really scary. But, that aside, let's see what I've got for you this month.
○ November Album:
You've probably guessed it, it's Made in the A.M, of course! For all of you lost souls who don't know what I'm talking about, it's One Direction's new album and it is the best one they've ever made. If you're not normally a 1D fan, I still recommend you give it a listen, because it's much different to their old sound, it's much more mature and grown up and you can really see their progress from five years ago to now. My absolute favourite tracks from this album are: A.M, Temporary Fix (if you're gonna listen to anything, listen to this one) and Love You Goodbye, but I obviously love the rest of them as well. I know not everyone will like it, but it's my favourite and I needed to include it.
○ November Artist: Ariana Grande
This is apparently another musical month for me. I've recently discovered some of her song which I hadn't heard before and I decided to download the album. Out of 16 songs on the My Everything album, I'm not too keen on one song, but I love the rest. She's got an amazing voice and her songs put me in a really good mood for some reason. The genre of her music is defined as pop and dance-pop, so you can get an image of what you can expect. My favourite songs from the album are Just a Little Bit of Your Heart, One Last Time and Be My Baby.

○ November Movie: Van Gogh: Painted With Words
This is BBC's documentary about Vincent Van Gogh based on his letters to his brother Theo. Benedict Cumberbatch plays the role of Van Gogh, so you know it's a good one. I found it really interesting and I learned a lot about Van Gogh that made me appreciate him even more than before. If you're interested in him, like his art and want to find out more about him, go watch this movie. I also found it a bit emotional at the end, to be honest. I think it's a really well made documentary and it holds your attention.

Unfortunately, that's all I've got for you this month because I've been pretty busy again, but I've already got some things that I think are gonna make next month's recommendations. Also, I'm not doing Blogmas this year because I just don't have enough time for it, but I will try to think of something special for December, I promise.

There are two reasons for why this is today's blog post - 1) I wanted to do a tag and 2) I'm hungry. There are 25 questions as you can see in the title, and I'll do my best to give proper answers to most of them. Let's begin.

1. What's your favorite breakfast?
Hands down granola with Greek yoghurt and raspberries (I don't mind using all the other berries, raspberries just happen to be my favourite).

2. How do you drink your coffee?
Depends on the type of coffee I'm drinking and on how little sleep I got. I usually like it with milk, but sugar is optional.

3. What's on your favorite sandwich?
Off the top of my head - cream cheese, fried bacon, green pepper, oregano and curry.

4. Soup or Salad?
I am currently craving a cream chicken soup, so soup wins.

5. What's your favorite cookbook?
Don't have one.

6. No more sweets or no more harty foods?
I'm afraid I don't know what harty foods are.

7. What's your favorite Cuisine (country)?
Probably Italian and Indian (even thought I've only had it once in my life).

8. What's your favorite food movie?
I don't have one of those either, soz.

9. What's your most guilty pleasure?
Definitely fried bacon. I have recently become obsessed with it, even though I'm aware of how unhealthy it is, and I just can't stop.

10. What's your greatest inspiration source?
When I decide to cook something, which doesn't happen very often, I either just look through the stuff I've got in the kitchen, or get some ideas on YouTube.

11. Cooking at home or going out for dinner?
Going out for sure.

12. High end or low profile?
Who cares?

13. What's your favorite restaurant?
The pizza place which makes my favourite pizza.

14. I do my grocery shopping at:
the nearest super market for daily shopping. For bigger shops, wherever my parents decide to go.The names won't mean anything to you.

15. The tastiest food I've ever eaten was:
Wow, that's a tough one. Maybe Indian.

16. What's your favorite cocktail?
Out of the ones I've tried, I liked Sex on The Beach most.

17. Coffee with George Clooney or Heston Blumenthal?
Literally neither.

18. What should not be missing in your kitchen?
Granola and Greek yoghurt.

19. What's your favorite snack?
Popcorn, crisps or tortilla chips with guacamole on the side.

20. What's on your pizza?
Cheese, peppers and tomatoes.

21. What food do you really dislike?
Fish and mushrooms, I just can't deal with them.

22. What's your favorite food blog?
I don't really read any blogs that are specifically food related. I get my recipes from all over the place.

23. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
The pizza I made with one of my friends a few years ago. It included eggs and leftover chicken. It's safe to say it was horrific.

24. What's on your food bucket list?
Peanut putter and pineapple pizza.

25. I couldn't live without:
At the moment I have to go for pizza as I've been constantly craving it for the past month or so. Other than that, I really like cheese.

This week I've been loving wearing certain products on my eyes, so I thought I'd let you know which ones.
The first one is the Wjcon Creamy Push Metallic Eyeshadow in the shade 11 - it's a really pretty warm toned golden shade. I use is as a base to make sure the rest of my eyeshadows stay on longer.
The next thing I do is run the Essence Beach Cruisers Bronzing Powder (01 Life Is A Beach) through the crease to warm it up. I only use the matte bit, and I only ever use this bronzer as eyeshadow cause I don't like it for bronzing because of the shimmer. I like is as an eyeshadow because it's a really nice shade of brown, it's really warm and kind of orange and I think it complements my eye colour very nicely.
Once my crease is all warmed up, I mix two gold eyeshadows (NYX Glam Eyeshadow in 01 Boost and Isabelle Dupont Soft Velvet Mono in E20) together and pat them onto my mobile lid. If I don't feel like they're pigmented enough, I just dip my brush into my moisturizer and then go in with eyeshadow - it makes a whole lot of a difference.
If needed, I'll go back to my bronzer and blend a bit more of it through the crease to make everything a bit more seamless. And with that, my eyeshadow is done and I just apply some mascara to finish the look off.
That's the eyeshadows I've been going for when I wanted a full proof pretty look. I think it would look great on all eye colours, but especially on green ones as it brings out the green pigments in mine and it looks stunning.

I've done a brow routine a few months ago, but I've changed it up and it's much more fuss free. It includes only two products and only three steps.
The first step is to simply brushing through the brows with a spoolie to get them in the right shape.
The next thing I do is use an eyebrow pencil (Golden Rose) to outline the bottom part of my brows and get them nice and neat. Then I go on filling them in and outlining the top part.
Once I've filled them in properly and got them into the wanted shape I'll finish them off with a bit of clear eyebrow gel (Essence) to set them in place and make sure they don't go crazy on me, which they otherwise would.
That's literally all I do and I've found my brows look much better this way than with the NYX powder (because the colour match and the pigmentation is better) and it's way quicker definitely. So, combined with my new foundation routine which takes no time at all, I'm done with my makeup in like 15 minutes if I decide to use mascara as well. Extra plus: you can take your eyebrow pencil with you wherever you go in case you need to touch up.
That's all I've got for you today, bye for now.

Here's the end result.

Recently my skin has been looking pretty good so I've been trying not to drown it in foundation (not that I ever really do that, though) and decided to try something I've heard a lot about.
What I've been doing is mixing my L'oreal True Match Foundation (as it's got lighter coverage than the Rimmel one I own) with my daily moisturizer. This technique is kind of like a 2 in 1 step cause you moisturize your skin along with evening it out a bit. Keep in mind this won't really  provide you with too much coverage, but just make your skin look closer to flawless without looking cakey.
I use about half a pump of foundation and about the same amount, or less, of moisturizer and apply it with a flat top kabuki brush. Depending on your preference, you can adjust the amount that you use, this just happens to work for me.
The end result I find amazing because it makes my skin look much better (evened out and smoother, I guess), but really natural, you literally can't tell there's foundation on your face.
If my under eye bags are really bad and the foundation doesn't help, I'll use a bit of concealer - either the L'oreal True Match or the Maybelline Fit Me.
Of course, I have to set it with a powder cause after a few hours I become a shine ball and it's not pretty. The powder I use is the Rimmel Stay Matte in 01 Transparent. If I'm feeling really lazy, I'll use the same brush to apply it, if not, I'll get an angled flat kabuki. Also, I feel like I don't have to touch it up too much during the day, so that's another plus.
That's it - a super quick and simple technique leaving you with a lovely natural looking finish.

I've done the beauty edition of WYR,so I thought I'd do a fashion one cause it seemed fun. I don't know what I'm in for, so let's find out.

1. Would you rather dress only in styles popular 20 years ago or dress the way you did when you were 10 years old?
Well, the 90s are coming back and I had no taste when I was 10, so definitely in styles popular 20 years ago.

2. Would you rather be underdressed or overdressed?
I saw a post on tumblr that said you can never be overdressed or overeducated and I am gonna stick to that one -I'd rather be overdressed.

3. Would you rather wear the bulkiest winter boots during the hottest summer for one month or wear flipflops during the coldest winter for one month?
I'm all for winter and the weather being colder, but no way I could allow my already always frozen feet to get hypothermia, so I'd rather die from the heat in bulky winter boots.

4. Would you rather wear clothes that are comfortable or fashionable?
I would make a comfortable outfit fashionable and get the best of both worlds (you didn't really think I wouldn't cheat at least one, did ya?).

5. Would you rather wear an all white outfit or an all black one?
All black any day! I'm not a big lover of all white outfits cause I'm not sold on white pants, so I'm going black.

6. Would you rather have your shirt tucked in or tucked out?
If it's not a baggy one, I always tuck my shirts in for some reason - maybe I feel like it makes my legs look longer (lol).

7. Would you rather wear aviators or wayfarers?
Wayfarers all the way just cause I think they suit the shape of my face better.

8. Would you rather wear socks with sandals or nothing with them?
What kind of a question even is this? Nothing makes me cringe more than the sandal & socks combo.

9. Would you rather have Donald Trump's hair or Kanye's fashion sense?
I don't see anything wrong with Kanye's fashion sense, whereas I do see some flaws in Trump's hairdo. The choice is obvious.

10. Would you rather wear Edward Scissorhands costume for a week or Maleficent costume for six months?
Edward Scissorhands, obviously!!! Who wouldn't want to try out the old scissorhands? I definitely need to watch that movie again.

Those are some of the questions I found, some were a bit boring, but I made it work, hopefully. Talk to you Saturday (if I'm not hungover).
